Bed Breakfast Molise

Its name comes from ‘Sannio’(inhabited from Sanniti). It includes mountain and hill areas and it overlooks the Adriatic Sea in the east. Its cuisine is considered to be of high standard and among known products there are olives from which it’s taken out the DOP oil. Molise bread is also popular because of its different types; fresh pasta without eggs is called ‘cavatelli’. Typical salami are ‘soppressata, capocollo and ventricina’. Among sweets there are ‘cancelle’ with fennel seeds, ‘cipillati’(ravioli baked in the oven with sour blackberry) and at Easter there is ‘pigna’(crunchy doughnut). Tourist attractions are its beaches in Termoli, the ski resort in Campitello Matese, the natural oasis in Guardiaregia for hiking , trekking, mountain-biking, horse-riding, and spelaeologic excursions. Finally you can enjoy medieval villages rich of archaeological ‘Sannitici’ remains.
