This region derives its name from the Latin ‘Aprutium’ which was once united to Molise, and later it modified its borders. Its climate is influenced by the Apennines on the one hand, on the other by the coast. It’s a region rich of Art and Culture, in fact they often organize musical events, exhibitions and festivals. The gorgeous Abruzzo landscape includes the wonderful natural reserve of Gran Sasso. The land, here, permits a big agricultural production and also sheep farm.
